ConSteel regards the promotion of health and safety measures as a mutual objective for management and employees of all levels.  We also fully accept our responsibility for other persons who may be affected by our activities. We will take steps to ensure that our statutory duties are met at all times.

 

In particular ConSteel has a responsibility:

  • To provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, taking into account of any statutory requirements.

  • To provide training and instructions that enable employees to perform their work safely and efficiently.

  • To make available all necessary safety devices, protective equipment and to supervise their use.

  • To maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety matters applicable to the organisation activities, in particular, by consulting and involving our representatives wherever possible.

 

Employees have a duty to co-operate in the operation of this policy by:

  • Working safely and efficiently

  • Using the protective equipment provided, and by meeting statutory obligations.

  • Reporting incidents that have led or may lead to injury or damage.

  • Adhering to company procedures, jointly agreed on behalf, for securing a safe working place.

  • Assisting in the investigation of accidents with the object of introducing measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Adhering to the organisation policy on alcohol and drugs.
